School of Psychology Lecturer Stephanie Burnett Heyes recently wrote a commentary for UNICEF Office of Research.
The commentary followed the latest debate from the UNICEF Office of Research - Innocenti, which drilled down to bedrock assumptions underpinning the many ways societies fail to protect adolescent girls. Written alongside Chii-Fen Hiu of the University of Oxford, the commentry looked at how brain development and other factors may contribute to vulnerabilities and opportunities in the lives of adolescent girls.
