The Universities of Birmingham and Manchester are core partners in an international consortium which has been selected to support the NHS through the largest and most comprehensive programme of leadership development it has ever undertaken, commissioned by the NHS Leadership Academy.

The University of Birmingham’s Health Services Management Centre and the Manchester Business School are responsible for delivering two new professional development programmes available to over 25,000 staff including doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, healthcare scientists, HR and finance staff. These programmes aim to improve compassion and the patient experience, make patient-centred coordinated care happen and create a culture for quality.

HSMC are now recruiting for part time senior lecturers in leadership development to deliver these programmes.
