With a number of health and social care communities considering whether to develop their child and adolescent mental health services into a more integrated 0-25 pathway, comparative research at the University of Birmingham is exploring how such issues are approached in England, Wales and Scotland and in three Australian States and Territories. Reviewing the interaction between policy, practice and service user experience, this is one of the most comprehensive and ambitious studies ever undertaken – and results will be crucial for policy makers, practitioners and people using services alike.
