The theme of the latest HSMC Newsletter is Leadership (which so often seems to be presented as a 'problem' in the NHS - but is also put forward as one of the main 'solutions'). There is an article explaining HSMC's approach to leadership development. Our work with the NHS Leadership Academy and others in developing two of the Leadership Academy's national programmes has been an opportunity to develop our approach in practice. The NHS, through the Leadership Academy, is making a huge effort to develop leadership practice, and we are proud to be involved in what is believed to be one of the most significant investments in leadership developments in the history of the NHS.
We also include in this edition a celebration of our involvement in the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme. This year we celebrate 15 continuous years of involvement in this multiple award-winning scheme, and we continue to feel privileged to be involved in delivering such a prestigious programme.
