On Thursday 12 February Professor Jon Glasby will be speaking at a community conference organised by Birmingham Labour Party on the theme of Whose Health and Social Care? The Future. The conference focuses on key issues facing the NHS including how to make it financially sustainable and how health and care services can work together to better meet the needs of older people. Other confirmed speakers are Lord Philip Hunt, Shadow Spokesperson for Health, Cllr John Cotton, Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing and Gerard Coyne, West Midlands Regional Secretary for Unite the Union.
