The oldest British social policy journal, ‘Social Policy and Administration’, celebrated its 50th anniversary with a day conference at the Health Services Management Centre.
About 50 people attended the event, which included plenary lectures by Prof Peter Taylor-Gooby on ‘The Divisive Welfare State’ and Prof Daniel Beland on ‘Ideas and Institutions in Social Policy Research’.
