It has been another great term for BUCES with attendance at all events significantly up from any previous year.
The major event of the term (aside from Frank Morton!) was the winter ball. As with last year this was held at the fantastic Fazeley studios and saw 160 Chemical Engineering students come together for a night of fantastic food and music. The evening started with music from the 8 piece Charlie and the Funk factory before moving onto a fantastic 3 course dinner. After the meal there was more live music before the DJ played out the night until 3 o’clock. The event was particularly well attended by the latest crop of first years who are doing a brilliant job of keeping the BUCES spirit alive and kicking.
With the BUCES elections taking place in the next couple of weeks we are looking forward to welcoming the next generation of committee members who can continue to help the society grow and evolve!
