Hello everyone,
This is the final update from the 2013-2014 BUMS committee!
The third and final term of the year is always a very stressful one for students with plenty of exams to contend with. With this in mind students from the department were busy organising the Materials Ball throughout the academic year to ensure students and staff alike ended the year on a high note.
On 18 June the Materials Ball was held at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. With a lovely three course meal, raffle and live band the event was thoroughly enjoyed by over a hundred students and staff.
You may have some fond memories of the Materials or BUMS Ball - some of the stories from over the years are still being told today! I’m very happy to report that the night went off without any hitches and we weren’t banned from the venue!
