As of now, EPS has 24 student societies. Yes, 24, and guess who is the newb!

Games Development Society has existed as a Guild-affiliated society since its creation 3 years ago. We make video games, we help each other make video games and we help anyone who wants to learn to make video games. In the past year, we have hosted internal Game Jams and games development tutorials, as well as organised a trip to EGX (Eurogamer Expo) in order to get more students into games development.

We are very glad and appreciative of the EPS Community to have recently accepted us into the fold, allowing us to finally be connected with you: our alumni.

We plan to hold events in the future which we would be more than excited to have you be a part of. Whether you want to come back just to participate, or if you have had some experience in the gaming industry and want to share with us, we would be more than happy to welcome you! On Friday 10 June, after our exams are over, we will be hosting a charity Game Jam in support of Cancer Research UK. It will be a small but dedicated event. If you are interested in taking part in any way, please do contact us at eps-community@contacts.bham.ac.uk.

If you want to see more of what we're about, you can look at our website or check us out on Twitter @UoBGamesDev

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Best wishes,
