How to Apply

Please read the below information carefully before submitting your application:

  1. Read the Entry Requirements page and the BISS Programmes page carefully to check whether you meet the requirements for your chosen programme of study.
  2. Please check whether you should contact your university's International Office before submitting your application.
  3. Please select the application for the BISS programme of your choice from the list below and create an account for your application. Complete all sections before submission. Please ensure that you check all of the details are correct before submitting your application.
  4. When applying, you will need to upload an official transcript of your grades in English.
    If you have evidence of English Language proficiency at this stage (see the Entry Requirements page for a list of proficiencies) please upload this with your application.
  5. Please note: If you are currently studying at a University of Birmingham partner institution, we would like to contact your current university to confirm that you have applied to study on a BISS programme. This may require sharing personal data and information about your application for recording purposes and provide you with additional support where necessary. If you agree that we can discuss your application, please complete the Student Applicant Consent Form and upload it along with your application.

What happens next?

You will receive an email confirming that we have received your application.

Your application will be processed by the University Admissions Office, and you will be notified of the outcome.

Should an offer be made you will be required to meet all conditions before you can be accepted officially onto the programme.
