This course will run over 4 years full-time with an integrated foundation year, comprising lectures, case study work, online assignments, and project work collaboratively supervised by research-led academics and industry engineers.
The Foundation Year prepares you for undergraduate study by covering essential subjects such as calculus, electronics, mathematics, mechanics, statistics, and academic English.
This preparatory year will help you gain a solid grounding in engineering principles. Successful completion guarantees progression to the Computer Engineering BSc programme.
In Year one, you will complete core modules in Artificial Intelligence, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Electrical Engineering, and participate in integrated design projects.
Additionally, you will engage in a compulsory module on entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability, designed to enhance employability skills.
Year two builds on advanced topics such as Artificial Intelligence 2, Functional Programming, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, Operating Systems, and Systems Programming where you will engage in multidisciplinary systems engineering and complete integrated design projects.
Emphasising on practical applications and problem-solving skills, this year provides a comprehensive understanding of AI, programming, engineering principles, and system-level software development.
Year three covers a combination of core and optional modules focused on topics like Computer Hardware and Digital Design, Individual Engineering Project, and The Internet of Things.
You will gain practical and research skills through individual and integrated projects, with options for interdisciplinary or industry-based work, ensuring a comprehensive understanding and application of advanced engineering concepts.

The University tuition fee covers the cost of your tuition, examination and graduation.
