BHM 2023
October is Black History Month and the University will again be celebrating the culture and histories of our Black communities with a comprehensive programme of events. This year our programme will be based around the UK Black History Month theme: Celebrating our Sisters, Saluting our Sisters, Matriarchs of Movements #WeMatter, highlighting the key role of Black women in shaping history, inspiring change, and building communities.
You can get involved in many ways. If you are not already a member, consider joining the staff Race Equality Network at the University. If you are feeling inspired and have an event you would like included in this year's programme, you can submit it using the BHM submission form.
