Who Cares? An exploration of caregiving and care receiving

Through personal stories, evidence-based research and shared experiences, the panel will explore the multifaceted dynamics of caregiving and care receiving, including the challenges faced, the sacrifices made, and the triumphs celebrated by these extraordinary individuals.

The discussion is chaired by David Brindle, a leading social policy journalist and former public services editor for the Guardian newspaper. Panellists include Emily Kenway, activist and author of Who Cares: The Hidden Crisis of Caregiving and How We Solve It, Professor Jon Glasby, Director of IMPACT, the UK centre for implementing evidence in adult social care, and Clenton Farquharson MBE, a disabled person with lived experience and Chair of the Think Local Act Personal programme board.
