Generative AI offers widespread access to tools that can respond coherently and creatively to prompts to produce text, video and images. In this unique creative writing workshop facilitated by author Liam Brown, we’ll collaborate with each other and AI to consider our future relationship with new and emerging technologies.

Join us to create narratives, dialogues and stories about Birmingham’s future. As a city pivotal to the first industrial revolution, we’ll creatively consider Birmingham’s AI future. Will it be utopia, dystopia, or something in between?

You don’t need to be an AI expert or professional writer, just be ready to write creatively and collaborate convivially with others and the AI.

This event is presented as part of AI Futures at The Exchange. Running February to November 2024, the programme explores the brave new world of artificial intelligence through the lens of University of Birmingham research.
