The Cadbury Research Library welcomes all interested users, whether they are staff and students of the University or members of the public. How to register.

The Cadbury Research Library is located in the Muirhead Tower and is the home for Special Collections of the University of Birmingham. The collections consist of over 200,000 rare books dating from 1471 and four million manuscript items. Directions and opening hours.

The Cadbury Research Library directly supports the University's research, learning and teaching agenda by collecting and making accessible all collections and seeking to acquire material which ties into this agenda.

Our professional staff team is comprised of three professions: Archivists, Librarians and Conservators. These staff members work alongside our dedicated team of Library Support Assistants.

The Cadbury Rearch Library is a member of the Birmingham Heritage Forum. The Birmingham Heritage Forum works to promote collections, historic sites, museums, galleries, churches, gardens and visitor services, within the Birmingham area.
