Recent projects at the Cadbury Research Library
- Archives Revealed award £35,000 to the Cadbury Research Library for the Avon Papers Project to catalogue the personal and political papers of former British Prime Minister Anthony Eden (1897-1977). The cataloging is being undertaken by Project Archivist Matthew Barton at the Cadbury Research Library.
- Stuart Hall Archive Project. A three year project funded by the University of Birmingham to expand public understanding and engagement with the work of Professor Stuart Hall (1932-2014). Led by academics Professor Nick Beech, Professor Pat Noxolo, and Associate Professor Rebecca Roach. The project also involves Project Archivist Rebecca Adams who is fully cataloguing the Stuart Hall archive at Cadbury Research Library.
- Cataloguing of 300 volumes in the Jephcott Polar Collection on permanent loan to the Cadbury Research Library has been completed. The collection includes a rare copy of Aurora Australis printed by the Nimrod Expedition in Antarctica in 1908.
- Rare books and manuscripts from the Blavatnik Honresfield Library have been saved by Friends of the National Libraries. 68 books, including a rare 1846 volume of poems by Emily, Charlotte and Anne Brontë, have been accepted into the rare books collections of the Cadbury Research Library.
- Cataloguing the YMCA/YHA Archives blog by Wellcome Trust funded Project Archivists, Holly Waughman and Matthew Goodwin.
