Black History Month, 1 - 31 October 2023

History of the University of Birmingham, 26 September 2023 - 28 June 2024
This exhibition about the history of the University of Birmingham from its foundation and early years at Edgbaston, through the challenges and change of two World Wars, is told through material from the University of Birmingham's own Heritage Archive collection. Main Library Atrium (R30 on the campus map). All welcome, non-University ID card holders please report to Main Library reception.

Celebrating the First Folio: 400 Years
2023 marks 400 years since the publication of the Shakespeare First Folio. This online exhibition sheds light on the signficance of this important work, that helped to bring us Shakespeare's plays as we still know and enjoy today. It also describes some of the unusual features of the rare copy of the Shakespeare First Folio held in the Cadbury Research Library.
UK Disability History Month, 16 November - 16 December 2023
Cadbury Research Library is marking UK Disability History Month 2023 with an online exhibition of images relating to disability, selected from the archives, manuscripts, and rare books. There are also two pre-recorded talks on Harriet Martineau and her experience of deafness.
