Facilities
Collections
Current editions of books are in the High Demand Collection on the ground floor. Older editions are in the Stack Collection on the first floor, or in the Research Reserve.
Study spaces
The Barnes Library has nearly 250 study spaces. Individual study spaces can be found on the first floor, and group study spaces are on the second floor.
The library's ground floor entrance is next to the College’s Doug Ellis Learning Hub, providing PCs and spaces for individual and group study, along with laptops which can be borrowed.
Computers
Networked PCs for individual study are available on the first floor.
Photocopying and printing
There are two Multifunctional Devices (MFDs) on the first floor and one in the High Demand Collection on the ground floor, all of which allow printing, photocopying and scanning to University email addresses.
Our managed print system allows you to collect your printing from any of our MFDs, and to print from your own laptop or mobile device.
