Consider our two employer dedicated rooms for your recruitment activity. In an ideal location, right at the centre of campus and opposite the Student Hub, take advantage of views of Chancellor’s Court and the Joseph Chamberlain Clock Tower whilst recruiting great talent right here on University of Birmingham’s Edgbaston Campus.
Just an eight minute walk away from the University train station and a well-known spot among students for careers events, our Employer rooms are perfect for a variety of recruitment activity and events. Both rooms have a full range of AV equipment and free high-speed Wi-Fi.
Employer Training Room
The Employer Training Room, G30 Aston Webb Building, is perfect for presentations, interactive skills sessions and workshops, assessment centres, training, networking events and informal events to engage with students and graduates. This room is fully equipped for hybrid sessions using a Creston sound bar connected to the lectern PC.
Furniture in the Training Room is fully adjustable to adapt to your requirements. The room accommodates up to 40 people theatre style (chairs in consecutive straight rows), 25 people classroom style (chairs and tables in consecutive rows), interactive group sessions for 24 people (4 tables of groups of 6).
Employer Board Room
The Employer Board Room, G31 Aston Webb Building, is located just next door with an adjoining door to the Training Room. Expand your event by hiring both rooms to serve refreshments, give attendees a seating area to relax and mingle, or complete assessments.
The Board Room has a large elongated table and high-spec AV equipment, perfect for meetings, discussions, training, interviews, small presentations and team briefings. The room accommodates up to 12 people seated around the table.
Catering for your event
Use the University’s expert catering service or order in your own to make the most of your event. The rooms can be hired by the hour or for a whole day according to your needs.
