Research Project/Dissertation
This module will enable students to undertake an advanced clinical practice research project / dissertation focused on service improvement. The module ethos is underpinned by the student’s progressive demonstration of their ability to manage complete clinical care in partnership with patients and carers. The research project includes the analysis and synthesis of complex problems across a range of settings, using research-informed solutions to enhance patient experience and improve outcomes. Module teaching is supported by clinical collaborations and monthly academic supervision.
Module attendance required
8 taught days (monthly) with additional academic supervision.
Teaching
Face to face, online and small supervisory groups.
Assessment
10,000 word dissertation reporting on an advanced practice service improvement project.
