At Birmingham, I gained a lifelong passion for Economics, a curiosity for all things investment related through the societies and connections I made and most importantly I met people that transformed my life and career, and for that I am truly grateful.

I look after the Global Research and Equity Advisory business at Citi  – this means my teams predominantly help institutional investors make critical investment decisions across a variety of asset classes, and also help them to solve other complex problems for the benefit of their end clients. Since I left Birmingham University I have been fortunate enough to undertake a variety of roles across Research and Equities for several of the world’s largest global investment banks, as a research analyst, a sales person and a manager, leading different areas of the business.

I would advise anyone at university to build up a network and create meaningful connections - they can last a lifetime!
