...it's one of the best places to study in the country."
Since graduating, Sohaib has been working as an Analyst for Deutsche Bank, embracing a role at the cutting edge of financial learning.
My career
My first and current position since graduation has been within the Equity Structuring Group at Deutsche Bank. I am part of the Systematic Strategies Group, creating Investment strategies based on patterns in the market.
It's a very interesting position because frequently, we have to put pen to paper and think of new and creative ways to overcome issues we come across.
We work at the forefront of academia and it means that I'm constantly learning - a very undervalued feature of graduate positions.
Why Birmingham Business School?
The University had a great vibe about it. Academically, it's a solid institution and outside of London it's one of the best places to study in the country. I generally liked the environment and it felt like the right place to start.

The Birmingham experience
My experience at Birmingham was phenomenal and I thoroughly miss my time there. I've left University much more academically aware, with a good job and good prospects. Alongside these, I came out with life time stories and great friends.
