Hosted by Professor Isabelle Szmigin this session is open to all academics and aims to increase your knowledge and confidence when using media channels for your research promotion and current affairs commentary. During the hour you will be informed by colleagues of best practices and how to raise your academic profile.
Scott Lucas, Professor of International Politics, will demonstrate his professional use of social media channels along with a presentation from The Conversation.
Lunch will be served from 13:30 with a prompt start at 13.40. There will also be an additional opportunity to discuss article ideas with Annabell Bligh from The Conversation following the lunch and learn.
