Inclusion - how far have we come and how far can we go?

Julie Allan is an internationally prominent researcher in the field of inclusive education and has for a few years been a visiting professor at HumUS at Örebro University. Her research deals with inclusive education, disability and children's rights. 

This lecture, in English, at Örebro University will be ahead of her getting an honorary doctorate on the 6th May and may be viewed online through zoom.

Bio

Julie Allan has been Professor of Equity and Inclusion at the University of Birmingham since 2013. She has been involved in a number of international projects, including the USA, Denmark, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and Kazakhstan. Unique to Professor Allan is her deep anchoring in the Nordic countries, where she has participatated in networks and collaborations in both Norway and several universities in Sweden.
