Applied Micrometeorology

Description

This module will provide students with an understanding of:

  • The principles of meteorology at small scales (metres to kilometres)
  • The meteorological processes near the earth's surface (e.g., over a range of different surfaces/environments) associated with the exchange of heat, mass and momentum
  • Transport and dispersion of pollutants in the atmospheric boundary layer
