Wednesday 28 February 2024 (14:00-16:00)

Expert panel: the stakes, the candidates and what to expect.

The US elections in Nov 2024 may be the most important in recent American history. Donald Trump and Joe Biden are set for a rematch in the contest for the presidency, while the Republican and Democratic parties fight for control of Congress in a political environment beset by polarisation and extremism.

This panel of visiting experts and UoB scholars will unpack the big issues in a panel discussion, and field questions from the audience.

If you plan to attend, please register. The event is open to everyone and is Organised by: School of Government, and the Centre for Elections, Democracy, Accountability and Representation (CEDAR).

Featuring special guests:

  • Professor Andrew Rudalevige, Bowdoin College and London School of Economics
