Biography

Matt’s research project draws upon his extensive and varied experience of working in the fields of international development and local government. Prior to working in local economic development in the UK for the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Mott MacDonald, and Urban Foresight, Matt worked as a consultant in Vietnam - where he also gained experience in Cambodia and China – and subsequently in public financial management at the Ministry of Finance in Namibia as an ODI Fellow and the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning in Liberia.
