Dr Jyoti Thanvi started teaching as a part time lecturer in 1999 after completing her Masters in statistics, and subsequently started her research in the field of biostatistics. She has a rich experience of almost 23
years of teaching in various institutes of repute in higher education in India. She also worked as an academic administrator in her tenure as Dean and Professor in JECRC College Jaipur for more than four years. She has also worked as Assistant Director in Department of Planning, Government of Rajasthan for almost a year. But the teacher inside her compelled her to continue her journey as an educator, so she again joined as an Assistant Professor in 2017. She has highly cited publications in her account. Her specialization is biostatistics. She also writes on women's issues and a strong believer of equality in society.
