Belinda Lombard is PhD student in applied mathematics in the Systems Modelling & Quantitative Biomedicine, supervised by Dr Eder Zavala. Belinda's PhD project will be focusing on mathematical and computational modelling of endocrine systems in humans in order to enhance our understanding on the regulation of the cortisol hormone, which is an important part of the body's stress response.
