I am working as a Marie Currie fellow at School of Chemical Engineering, University of Birmingham. I am also working as an associate Professor (Physics) at University of Education, Lahore, Pakistan. I gained a PhD (2011-15) in Material Science from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and postdoc (2015-17) from Tianjin University, China.

I have published more than 70 refereed journal articles in high impact journals such as ACS energy letters (IF 24), Adv. Energy Materials (IF 29.7), Nano energy (IF 19), J. Am. Chem. Soc. (IF 16.4), Applied catalysis B (IF 24.3) and J. Mater. Chem. A (IF 14.5) with Cumulative Impact Factor (CIF)-550. My publications have generated a total of more than 6400 citations and h-index of 38 (Google Scholar).

I won several national and international research awards such as ABDUS SALAM PRIZE in Physics from Pakistan Academy of Science and BEST RESEARCH PAPER from Higher Education Commission, PAKISTAN. I also got Best student award, excellent student and distinguish student awards, from BIT, China.
