Jean Assender is an Associate Professor, Department of Biomedical Sciences with a research interest in breast cancer and cell signalling.  She is Senior Tutor for the Biomedical Sciences Programme and an active member of the UK Advising and Tutoring Organisation.

Jean is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and interested in the scholarship of learning and teaching. She contributes to teaching across the College of Medicine and Health.
