Ben is a PhD student in the School of Computer Science, researching Machine Learning and Bioinformatics to improve the efficacy of phenotype-genotype modelling. His key focus areas involve genetic algorithms, graph theory and metagenomics. His work includes the philosophical and logical questions surrounding AI safety and Biosecurity.
