Biography

A. Bystrov received his BSc (1982) in Radio electronics from Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (Technical University MIET), Russia, MSc (1988) from the same university.

From 1982-1990 he was with MIET.

Since 1990 he was working as a project engineer in electronic industry in Lithuania.

In 2001-2002 he participated in Electrical Diagrams CAD system development in company ALNA (Lithuania).

Since 2002 Alex as a program manager was responsible for new payment card chip technology implementation (chip & PIN migration, 3D Secure standard etc.) in Lithuanian banking industry.

In 2012 he finished his PhD thesis on algorithms of digital signal processing in radar detectors and range finders.

Alex joined School of Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering in 2012.
