Jordan is a vertebrate palaeobiologist whose main interests are the ecology and evolution of Mesozoic reptiles. His current research investigates the diets and feeding behaviours of Triassic archosauromorphs, including the earliest dinosaurs and relatives of crocodilians, through a combination of dental microwear analysis and biomechanical modelling.
