Dr Ludwig Barbaro is a post-doctoral research fellow in the CharestLab. He is currently investigating the processes underlying access to awareness of visual stimuli and maintenance of these elements in visual working memory.

Biography

Ludwig Barbaro received his MD from the University of Pisa. He subsequently completed a PhD in Cognitive and Brain Sciences in CIMeC at the University of Trento, where he focused on the effects of reward and punishment on the representation of visual categories during naturalistic search. After performing a first postdoctoral project in the same department, he moved to Birmingham to join the CharestLab in June 2018.
