Dr Vish Ratnasuriya MBE is a practising GP Partner and elected Chair of Our Health Partnership (OHP), one of the UK’s largest and most decentralised GP super-partnerships — an embodiment of the multi-neighbourhood provider model. He co-founded the Primary Care Health Tech Accelerator, in partnership with the West Midlands Health Tech Innovation Accelerator (WMHTIA), to help bring cutting-edge technologies into frontline care.

Vish played a national role in developing the NHS 10 Year Plan and is now shaping its delivery. His Neighbourhood NHS vision translates the three Darzi shifts into practice: strengthening primary care as the system’s foundation; moving from episodic, disease-focused interventions to ongoing whole-person, relational care within primary care; and harnessing digital, data and prevention to improve outcomes. This approach centres on patients and continuity while embedding research and innovation into everyday care.

He serves on the Birmingham and Solihull ICB Place Board, is a member of the NHS Assembly advising NHS England’s Board, and has recently been appointed to the National Commission for the Regulation of AI in Healthcare. His interests include learning health systems, healthcare innovation, and policy — with a particular focus on how AI and health technologies can strengthen neighbourhood care and improve outcomes for patients.
