Getting to The Exchange

The Exchange is located in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. Extensive highway works are taking place around Centenary Square and Broad Street and we would advise that you plan ahead for travel and where possible, use public transport.

By rail

We are about 10 to 15 minutes' walk from New Street Station, and 15 to 20 minutes from Snow Hill Station. Moor Street and Five Ways are further away but still within walking distance (within 1 mile).

By metro

The metro stop ‘Library’ is based in Centenary Square, a stone’s throw from The Exchange.

By bus

A number of bus routes pass close to Centenary Square. The nearest station is ‘Baskerville House, Centenary Square’.

For more information, call Network West Midlands on 0871 200 22 33 (bus and metro only). You can also plan your bus journey online.

By bicycle

There are plenty of cycle racks in front of the Library on Centenary Square. You can find further information about city cycle routes on the Sustrans and Birmingham City Council websites.

By car - parking and congestion charges

There is no on site parking at The Exchange. There is street parking on Bridge Street, which is the closest road to our building. Please follow the link below to see the nearest accessible parking.
