Our global alumni

Welcome to the University of Birmingham’s global community of more than 100,000 alumni living overseas.

  • Social and professional networks

Alumni groups can help you stay connected to each other and the University of Birmingham, through events and activities held throughout the year. All of our groups represent the views, needs and interests of their alumni and support communities, provide contact points for local alumni, travelling alumni, academics and students, and support the next generation of leadership and inspiration through student recruitment and employability agendas.

So whether it's socialising with fellow alumni, seeking career advice, building a professional network, developing new skills or inspiring the lives of current and future University of Birmingham students, you will find support through your alumni networks.

All our established groups are coordinated by alumni volunteers who give their time, expertise, and resources to create an inclusive, active global community and support the advancement of the University of Birmingham.

Connect with your local alumni network through the links below and explore our events calendar to join events near you. If you don't see a group in your area and are interested in setting one up, please contact us.
