Learning lessons from the past

Our academics identify the lessons from history to advise and inform the present. From developing technology by learning the flaws of old and unused equipment, to analysing the behaviours of entire nations in response to conflict; we are using the past to inform the future and ensure the human cost of conflict is significantly reduced.

Our academics excel in a diverse range of areas and topics. Collaborative work with government organisations allows us to advise on a number of issues; from training the armed forces in better explosive detection, to better rehabilitation for patients through experiential technology.

Our academics' experience of real-world situations, coupled with their expertise in specific areas, such as air power or post-war society and politics, enables them to apply their knowledge to contemporary issues, so that the mistakes of the past are not repeated in the present day.
