Later this month, the Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS) and the School of Chemistry will bring together leading experimentalists, theorists, and simulators from around the globe with colleagues from Birmingham for a two day workshop to explore new futures in colloid science and its practical applications.

Over two days in Birmingham on 13 and 14 July participants will discuss recent breakthroughs and explore new frontiers in colloid science, in particular in Clusters Science, Synthetic Biology and Formulation Engineering.

The workshop is being coordinated by Birmingham Fellow Dr Dwaipayan Chakrabarti  and Professor Vinothan N. Manoharan,  Harvard Professor and the Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS)' Distinguished Visiting Fellow.
