Professor Sir J Fraser Stoddart, University of Birmingham alumnus and winner of the 2016 Nobel Prize for Chemistry gave a guest lecture entitled ‘The Nature of the Mechanical Bond : From Molecules to Machines’ at the University’s School of Chemistry.
