Two studentships bring Brazilian researchers to the School

The School of Philosophy, Theology and Religion will be welcoming Gabriel Garmendia da Trindade and Tupa Guerra Guimarães da Silva who have been awarded scholarships co-sponsored by the University of Birmingham and the Brazilian Government (CAPES).

Gabriel will be working in the Department of Philosophy with Heather Widdows and Jeremy Williams on animal ethics and activism, and Tupa will be pursuing research in the Department of Theology and Religion on the Dead Sea Scrolls with Charlotte Hempel.
