Professor Ewan Fernie discussed the amazing ideas and international connections of George Dawson who founded the Shakespeare Memorial Library.
Midlands3Cities-funded PhD student Richard O'Brien performed an extract from his new verse play, 'Sanctuary'. Richard's doctoral research looks at Shakespeare and the development of verse drama.
Our music ensembles provided the soundtrack to the summer day, through appearances on the Chancellor Court main stage, the foyer of the Bramall Music Building and the Bramall Concert Hall.
