Length of course (Birmingham International Academy Presessional)
The Presessional English course lengths are 42, 31, 20, 15, 10 or 6 weeks. The course length that is right for you will depend on your current level of English and the requirements of your UoB Foundation Pathways offer.
Choosing the right length of course
The length of the Presessional course you should do depends on your current level of English and the level required by your particular Foundation Pathway. Under the headings below, you can see which pathway at the University of Birmingham require which IELTS score.
4-year Foundation pathways (except Law and English Literature)
For four-year Foundation programmes leading to all degrees except Law and English Literature:
