Civil Engineering undergraduate degree courses

We offer a wide range of challenging, up-to-date degree courses. You can choose from the below list of accredited three year BEng and four Year MEng degree courses.

Civil engineering has been taught at Birmingham since 1875 (prior to the University’s inception) which means that our graduates have been shaping the future for over 135 years. Our staff and students continue to be at the forefront of the Civil Engineering industry and work on a diverse range of projects which help to solve today’s problems and those of the future.

At Birmingham, everyone follows an integrated BEng or MEng route for the first two years. Once you have finished your second year you then choose whether to complete a BEng or MEng degree.
