College of Medicine and Health Research Office

The CMH Research Office underpins the development and delivery of effective research strategy and operations for the College, supporting key areas including research integrity and research culture, researcher development, clinical academic training and postgraduate research, clinical research compliance, major facilities (including the Human Biomaterials Resource Centre and the Medicines Manufacturing Facility) and the management of a wide range of infrastructure and strategic programmes with NHS, industry and patient partners.

We work in close collaboration with the senior academic and professional services leadership of the College to ensure an integrated, positive and mutually-supportive approach to research and education, as well as with a broad range of University teams to support researcher development and peer networks for professional services – particularly our colleagues in Research Strategy & Services Division, who provide the primary hub for pre- and post-award research funding, contracts, business engagement, ethics and governance.
