Digital Politics Research Group

Hosted by POLSIS, the Digital Politics Research Group aims to bring together members across the College of Social Sciences and beyond with a research interest in areas of digital politics.

We understand ‘Digital Politics’ to cover a wide range of topics related to, for example, digital technologies, social media, everyday politics of the digital, political participation, contestation and other digital practices, new modes of surveillance, dis- and misinformation, and digital communities.

In particular, our aim is to establish an interdisciplinary, methodologically pluralist research group which will provide researchers with a space for collaborative exploration, networking, and sharing of best practices and challenges when it comes to methodology in this developing field of research.
