Julie Swann

Julie graduated from University of Birmingham in 1990 and has continued to live and work in the city, recently establishing a charitable foundation to support the most disadvantaged communities of Birmingham and the West Midlands. This has followed a career with Andersen, where she made Partner in 2001, and subsequently Deloitte where she built and led a specialist Strategy and Reward team. More latterly Julie was Chief of Staff for the Deloitte Global Tax & Legal Business and subsequently Deloitte UK.

Julie has long been an advocate for grassroots charities, working with various community groups to provide financial rigour and governance. She is also ithe Chair of Governors for King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls, a leading UK selective school known for its pioneering approach to inclusion. As part of her passion on gender equality, Julie designs and leads women’s development and leadership programmes.
