Rosie Harris

Rosie graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1979 with a BA (Hons) Ancient History and Archaeology. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked in Bristol, Bahrain and London for PWC. Rosie has spent her career in the Financial Services industry undertaking a range of jobs as diverse as Finance, HR, Customer Service and Operations, Risk Management, and Change Management. She was the Chief Operating Officer for Prudential UK managing 6000 staff in the UK and India. Her final executive role was as Chief Risk Officer for Aviva UK.

Rosie is currently Chair of Standard Life, Phoenix Life and Reassure Life – all owned by The Phoenix Group plc. She is also a Non-executive director , and Chair of the Risk Committee of Intact Insurance UK.

Rosie has maintained contact with many of her fellow students from Birmingham from a range of disciplines - Medicine, Engineering, and the Arts. She lives between Suffolk and London.
