Yogesh Patel is an accomplished financial services executive and board member with over two decades of international experience across banking operations, strategic transformation, and educational governance. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and holds senior regulatory accountability at Hampshire Trust Bank, where he oversees complex operational frameworks and enterprise-wide business transformations.

Yogesh’s executive career includes 13 years in Managing Director capacities at Coutts & Company and NatWest. During this tenure, he was a member of the Coutts & Company Board, led global wealth operations, and directed digital transformation while overseeing large-scale international teams. He also spent over a decade as a Principal at Booz & Company.

Deeply committed to educational and charitable governance, Yogesh serves as the Vice Chair and Trustee of the London Marathon Foundation, sitting on its Finance & Audit, Governance & Nominations, and Group Remuneration Committees. He is also a former Governor for the Harris Westminster Sixth Form.

He holds an MBA from The Wharton School (where he was a Fulbright Scholar), an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, and a first-class BSc in Economics from the LSE.

He lives in London with his family and is a keen marathon runner. Having been born in West Bromwich, he maintains a strong connection to the Birmingham area, where his extended family continues to live and where he visits frequently.
